We’ll stop at the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah along the road, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Many films, including Laurence of Arabia, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and others, have utilised it.

Enjoy beautiful vistas filled with a variety of hues and little Berber communities. We’ll make stops at several vantage spots so you can see and take pictures. Then go in the direction of Ouarzazate, well known as “the gateway to the Sahara desert.”

Visit the Kasbah Taourirt and Films Studios before continuing into the Dades Gorges and crossing the picturesque Road of 1,000 Kasbahs. Upon arriving in Boumalne Dades, enjoy dinner and spend the night in a traditional Riad or hotel.

We will depart Dades and travel to Todra Gorges after eating a traditional Moroccan breakfast. Utilize this opportunity to learn more about Merzouga. Start your exploration of Berber settlements by going to Khamlia, often known as the “black people” village. A cup of tea was offered to me as I was warmly welcomed and listened to their meditative Gnawa music.
