The first day of our 4-day private Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga tour begins with hotel pickup. The first day, we proceed directly to Chefchaouen, sometimes known as “the blue city” or “the blue pearl of the north.”

You’ll undoubtedly be awed by the magnificent beauty and charm of its winding alleyways lined with lush greenery and vibrant crimson roses. We’ll also take a leisurely stroll by the majestically flowing river in this lovely town and enjoy mint tea in the impressive Plaza Uta el Hamam. We’ll travel to Fes after lunch so we can recover and get ready to travel to the Sahara.

Today, after a heartybreakfast, we’ll go to Merzouga Sahara Desert, one of our favourite places to visit, via the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, which offer a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.

Then we travel to Ifrane, also referred to as “Little Switzerland of Morocco.” As we travel via Azrou, the Ziz Valley, and Midelt before visiting Erfoud to see fossils.

Transferring you to Merzouga, we take a well-known camel ride through the Sahara desert. After eating and listening to some Berber music, we will spend the night in a desert camp under the bright sky.

As we continue our trip into the Tangier desert, we sit on a dune in Merzouga to take in the breathtaking dawn.

Then we start a camel ride to Merzouga hamlet, from where we drive to Rissani and tour Tafilalet, which is where the Moroccan Alaouite dynasty has its roots. We will travel to the Todgha Gorge and the Dades Valley before spending the night in a riad and having dinner there.

After breakfast today, we visit Skoura, the Valley of the Roses, and an Ouarzazate film studio before heading home. In Ait-Ben-Haddou, one of the most well-known fortified cities in the world, you can explore the local kasbah.

We will drive to your Marrakech lodging after traversing the Tizi n’Tichka mountain. The 4-day excursion from Tangier to Marrakech via the Merzouga Sahara comes to an end.
